Marinated Scallops Wrapped in Bacon

Stage 1
Mix together maple syrup, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard in a bowl until smooth. Add the scallops, and throw to cover. Cover bowl with cling wrap, and marinate at any rate 60 minutes.

Stage 2
Preheat stove to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a rimmed heating sheet with a sheet of aluminum foil.

Stage 3
Mastermind bacon pieces on heating sheet so they don't cover. Heat in preheated stove until a portion of the oil has delivered out of the bacon; the bacon should in any case be delicate and malleable, around 8 minutes. Eliminate bacon from the heating sheet and pat with paper towels to eliminate overabundance oil. Channel or wipe oil from the heating sheet.

Stage 4
Wrap each scallop piece with a piece of bacon, and secure with a toothpick. Spot onto heating sheet. Sprinkle the scallops with earthy colored sugar.

Stage 5
Heat in preheated broiler until the scallops are misty and the bacon is fresh, 10 to 15 minutes, turning once.
